FUSION 2025 Day 1 Photo

myHCI-UX’s annual flagship symposium, the 7th National Symposium on Human-Computer Interaction, also known as FUSION 2025, was held on 25 and 26 October 2025 at Asia Pacific University (APU). The theme of this year’s symposium was “Humanising Intelligence.”

The symposium featured keynote speakers including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wong Yong Jie from Kyoto University of Advanced Science, Mr. Josh Tedjasaputra from the Western Australian AI Hub, and Mr. Syahrul Helmi from Experian. Two focus group forums were conducted during the symposium, with the themes “Connecting Minds, Crafting Experiences” and “Designing Futures, Preserving Roots: UX Instruments for Digital Heritage.” A Student Design Challenge (SDC) exhibition was also organized as part of the symposium programme, along with a workshop titled “The Educator’s Guide: Mastering the Art of Prompt Engineering (MaPE).”
