This workshop was conducted to enlighten the participants about participatory design. It is also to encourage paper submissions to the Participatory Design Conference 2024 (PDC2024) which will be held at Sibu, Sarawak. The participants have presented their position papers and further obtained inputs on how to improve their papers. The speakers then shared their previous works and insights on their experience dealing with indigenous groups as well as the best practices to conduct user research based on participatory design. Altogether 11 members from UKM, UPM, UUM and the host, UTMKL have reaped the benefits from this event.
