NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON HUMAN COMPUTER INTERACTION (FUSION 2022)

The Kuala Lumpur ACM SIGCHI Chapter (myHCI-UX), supported by ACM SIGCHI is proud to present our 4th National Symposium on Human Computer Interaction – FUSION 2022. The theme this year is “Paving the way for human, technology, creativity symbiosis”. The event will be held virtually on 28-29 September 2022.

Pre-event : Mini Workshop (Tuesday 27.9.2022)

In conjunction with Fusion 2022, myHCI-UX is pleased to organized a mini workshop entitled “Make your research visible and accessible”, with Dr Pang Yee Yong (UTM). In this mini workshop there will be a hands-on session where techniques will be shared on how to promote your research via several popular academic media platforms to reach a wider audience, foster networking and collaborations, attract feedback from other researchers and increase your impact and citations.

This year, ✨40 teams ✨ from various institutions are participating! Watch and lend your support as they present their awesome design solutions to the judges.

Bridging ACADEMIA & INDUSTRY TALK (WEDNESDAY 28.9.2022)

A special segment – Bridging Academia & UX Industry will also see Ms Shaza Hakim from Stampede share a talk on “A practical guide to thrive in the industry” and introduce Stampede’s Design Apprenticeship Program. Students and advisors especially will not want to miss this!
